• It is the sole responsibility of the student to go through the prospectus and check his/ her eligibility at the time of application. We are not verifying the eligibility at the time of application. The eligibility will be verified by the University at the time of counselling.
  • Each student is required to sign a declaration regarding discipline and conduct as per provisions of the Act & Statutes of the University.
  • If any candidate secures admission on the basis of fake declarations or result or any mistake, his/ her admission shall be void, and the same will be cancelled as soon as the fact is detected. Action may also be taken against such candidates as per University rules.
  • The University reserves the right to change or modify the rules and regulations of the admission test and/or alter the number of seats allocated to each course of study.
  • On being selected for admission, the selected candidates shall have to submit the following documents in original on or before the last date prescribed for the purpose:
    (a) Mark Sheet/Grade Sheet of the qualifying degree course.
    (b) Character Certificate from the Dean/Head/Principal of the University/Institution last attended.
    (c) Migration Certificate from the competent authority of the University/Institution last attended, on or before 31.10.2019.
    (d) SC/ST/PH/Kashmiri Migrant/NRI Certificate issued by competent authority.
  • Applicants seeking admission to more than one course in the University have to submit separate Application Forms(Offline). They should take separate admission tests for each course. Single Application Form(Offline) for more than one course shall be summarily rejected.
  • For taking the Entrance Test, it is necessary that the candidates applying for admission to Master’s degree/diploma course must have passed the three year degree course from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission in 10+2+3 system of education.
  • Candidates appearing in the final examination of the qualifying degree course of any University in year 2019 are also eligible to appear in the Entrance Test. Such candidates, if admitted, must submit the proof of passing qualifying examination by 31stAugust, 2019 failing which the admission shall stand cancelled.
  • The percentage of marks in the qualifying examination shall be read without rounding off the percentage.
  • Mere appearing in the Entrance Test does not entitle a candidate to claim admission for any course.
  • Candidates against whom any disciplinary action has been taken at any stages in his/her earlier academic career shall not be admitted to any course in this University.
  • Enrolment of a student in any course of the University shall stand cancelled he/she is held guilty of any cognizable offence. Enrolment may also be cancelled, if his/her conduct is found by the Proctorial Board of the University to be at variance with that normally expected from a student of the University.
  • BBAU, Lucknow however has the right to cancel any of the Examination Centre and/or add some other cities/centres depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, or any force-majeure conditions etc. The final Exam Centre allotted to the candidate will be notified at the time of issuing Admit Card.
  • The Entrance Test will not be conducted for the courses, where the percentage of total appearing candidate is less than 50% of the total intake of the course. (For UG/ PG/ Diploma only)
  • Admission to the course will not be taken, if the total qualified candidate in the Entrance Test-2019 is less than 50% of the total intake in that particular course. (For UG/ PG/ Diploma only).
    Point/clause 14 and 15 above are applicable only to the courses whose fees are marked with asterisk (*). Moreover these clauses (14 & 15) do not apply to the courses of BBAU Satellite Campus, Amethi.
  • 5% relaxation shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ differently abled category in the entrance examination conducted by university. (For M. Phil/ Ph. D candidates)
  • NOTE: Students applying for Online Entrance test will be allowed to appear for Online Entrance Test. Similarly student applying for Offline Entrance Test will be allowed to appear for Offline Entrance Test. No change of mode (Online to Offline or Offline to Online) will be entertained.


The reservation policy to be followed for admission in Academic Session 2019-20 as per the provisions of the academic ordinance Chapter- VII (clause 9) “for the purposes of admission to all courses of study in the university, 50% of the seats shall be reserved for SC/ ST students” and 10% seats shall be reserved for Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) for admission as per the letter of MHRD, F.No.19-4/2019-CU.Cdn dated 23.01.2019 in the University.
