RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • Each student is required to sign a declaration regarding discipline and conduct as per provisions of the Act & Statutes of the University.
  • If any candidate secures admission on the basis of fake declarations or result or any mistake, his/ her admission shall be void , and the same will be cancelled as soon as the fact is detected. Action may also be taken against such candidates as per University rules.
  • The University reserves the right to change or modify the rules and regulations of the admission test admission test and/or alter the number of seats allocated to each course of study.
  • On being selected for admission, the selected candidates shall have to submit the following documents in original on or before the last date prescribed for the purpose:
    (a) Mark Sheet/Grade Sheet of the qualifying degree course
    (b) Character Certificate from the Dean/Head/Principal of the University/Institution last attended.
    (c) Migration Certificate from the competent authority of the University/Institution last attended (On or before 15th October 2017).
    (d) SC/ST/PH/Kashmiri Migrant/NRI Certificate issued by competent authority.
  • Applicants seeking admission to more than one course in the University have to submit separate Application Forms. They should take separate admission tests for each course. Single Application Form for more than one course shall be summarily rejected.
  • For taking the Entrance Test it is necessary that the candidates applying for admission to Master’s degree/diploma course must have passed the three year degree course from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission in 10+2+3 system of education.
  • Candidates appearing in the final examination of the qualifying degree course of any University in year 2017 are eligible to appear in the Entrance Test. Such candidates, if admitted, must submit the proof of passing qualifying examination by 31st August, 2017 failing which the admission shall stand cancelled.
  • The percentage of marks in the qualifying examination shall be read without rounding off the percentage.
  • Mere appearing in the Entrance Test does not entitle a candidates to claim admission for any course.
  • Candidates against whom any disciplinary action has been taken at any stages in his/her earlier academic career shall not be admitted to any course in his University.
  • Enrolment of a student in any course of the University shall stand cancelled he/she is held guilty of any cognizable offence, Enrolment may also be cancelled. If his/her conduct is found by the Proctorial Board of the University to be at variance with that normally expected from a student of the University.
  • OFF LINE examination will be conduct in the BBAU Campus only. No other test centre will be created for OFF LINE Entrance Test 2017.
  • Note: Students applying using Online Portal (Online Application) will be allowed to appear in Online Entrance Test, and in any case, they will not be allowed to appear in Off-Line Entrance Test. Similarly, students applying in off-line mode (after purchasing the forms from Admission Cell, BBAU-Lucknow or using downloaded application form), will only be allowed to appear in Off-Line Entrance Test which will be held in BBAU Campus; and they will not be allowed to appear in Online Entrance Test in any case.

RESERVATION POLICY

The University has reserved 50% seats for SC/ST candidates in all the teaching programmes including research programmes.

The University has a provision of one additional supernumerary seat in each course for

  • Single Girl Child
  • BPL Student
  • Cancer, HIV and Thalassemia Patient.
